Nice to be part of it!

Hi everyone! I have been following some of the threads and posts latetly and now I am presenting myself, I am from Brazil and I started sailing in lasers after a period I spent in US I was able to sail in Charleston harbor and do some coastal cuirses in the SC coast and also some of the ICW and did the ASA certificates. I am willing in the near future to be able to sail full time, but one need to walk b4 run. This comunity has some really good material and tips, thanks fo sharing all this and I hope I can contribute more in the future. Cheers, Filipe

Thanks! Faster, I have seen some of these boats around here, never had the opportunity to sail in one, but since boats built in Brazil are normally more expensive than the foreigns I woudl guess it is quite rare to see Brazilian boats around the wrold, where did you find it? Cheers.

Word has it that one of the principles in Fast Yachts owed an American some money, and that he settled the debt with 5 or 6 boats. I know of 2 others, one in SF and another on the East coast US. We found ours in WA state, quite certain it's the only one in BC, possible Canada.

It is said to be strong and off-shore capable, at least in what concerns the hull construction, it seems one person already went around the globe with one of those, well I am not a especialist but like to follow the history of boats and the boat was designed to sail on Britsh waters, domestic market wise the 80's models here are in the range of USD 50-70K and the most common here is the 310 model, how well does she sail?
