chasing serenity

just got a Seafarer 23 in need of some TLC. She is beautiful in my eyes and long to get her on the water, fondly remember days going out with my friends off shore while attending school, how serene, how simply sweet it was.........now its my turn (some thirty years later) I will be getting my feet wet in a local lake, but i am blue water bound!!!!!! Looking for all the help and advise i can get. Little to no real sailing skills, but never was one to bother with details located in central Florida, lake Monroe in Sanford, Fla and headed to the great open blue
