Hello to all

I have been sailing for about 40 years. I went from a Lighting to a Santana 22 and now have a Pearson 28. I started sailing in the North Sea, then, on my boats, the Chesapeake, Florida and Bahamas, and ended up on Long Island Sound. 2012 will be my first season on the Pearson and am looking forward to sailing along the East Coast. Although I have raced, as I get older cruising is more my speed. Because my fiancee's favorite point of sail is "at anchor," I am re-rigging the boat for what effectively will be solo sailing. Although I work on my boat, I would rather sail than fix it up. Having said that, I have a few projects to make the interior a bit nicer and more comfortable to make my fiancee not describe cruising as living in a closet. .

Pearson Triton

If your Pearson was manufactured in 1960, you have a Pearson Triton, designed by Carl Alberg. The Pearson 28 first appeared in 1977 and was designed by William Shaw.
