Introduction

hello all my name is David. I grew up racing sunfish, and have raced lasers and 420's on Lake travis. I also helped crew on my dads SC 21. I presently live in boise, Id and miss sailing a lot. I am a college student at the age of 33 and working on a double major. I am planning a trip to Europe in march 2012 and I'm in dire need of a sailboat. I would like to sail across since this also is a way cheaper and funner way of travel. If anyone has a boat that they are willing to give or loan me I would greatly appreciate it. Since this would also be aiding me in having one of my dreams come true.

lol
And when you get into trouble just call the coast guard to come rescue you.
So no need to worry about anything going wrong.

David,

I think you can scratch this one off of your list, at least for it to happen by next month. You might want to just get an airline ticket and pursue the sailing dream separate from your dire need to get to Europe.

Good luck.

I've often posted about free boats at some of the marinas, but you wouldn't want to take a giveaway across the pond unless you spent a lot of time and money on it. Nothing is really free.
