Live a Board Info Please

I am retired, Vietnam Vet, very healthy, owned boats/ships most of my life, and an entrepreneur when I worked. Have diesel mechanic school credentials as I lived/owned ships and took this courses for my own use. I'm very good with tools, working with wood, mechanical, diagnosing problems, very clean and reliable. NO drugs and non smoker (with the exception of a cigar once in awhile outside with friends). Social drinker - not a problem drinker. Have used up several passports around the world in my lifetime traveling Asia, Europe, Africa, South Pacific, Caribbean and the Americas. I have lived in California as a base most of my life.

I'm looking for a boat to live on in the LA area, preferrably MDR. I'll be happy to pay moorage and maintain the boat. Would consider buying if the terms were ok. Open to suggestions or offers. Would like to plan my move in the early to mid summer this year.

Welcome aboard. I'm on the other coast, and have no info on berths in LA. But I suggest watching craigslist and ebay for boats to buy. Also walk the marinas and boatyards. You might also try watching for crew opportunities. Good luck.
