Hello from Redondo Beach

Hello to all. It is nice to see all of the people who are logging in from around the world. Anyone have experience with a Pacific Seacraft Orion 27-2? We are new owners and would love to hear your experiences! Take Care, Bill

Ahhh, Redondo Beach, my old stomping grounds. Sorry.... no experience with that boat, but welcome to SailNet.

Re: Hello from Redondo Beach

Hello again and thank you to both of you for the kind words. Redondo Beach is beautiful, King Harbor is a great little marina, 5 minutes and you are beyond the breakwater sailing in Santa Monica bay. What with the view of the Palos Verdes peninsula to the south, Malibu/Point Dume to the north and gentle onshore breezes every afternoon (today it is onshore out of the wnw at 8 kts, warm and sunny) this one of the great places to spend an afternoon. I hope it is just as nice wherever both of you are at. We are thinking about getting a second boat, one with a little bit more performance and are looking at both a Tartan 30 and Bristol 30. Any thoughts on those?
