hello to all the sailors out there and good sailing.

Hi ive got a fortuain 30 and hopefully will be setting sail in or around june 2012 on a single handed non stop circumnavigation. to raise funds for the royal british legion and help the heroes. Im tracing the track of sir francis chichester in 1996/7 with one exception i will be calling into sydney harbour to give its lady mayor a oresent and then turnin around and heading for north island (new zealand) im a battered around the eges ex merchant marine and an ex soldier so am trying this to show that disaled people can do these things just a lot slower, should be fun bu im not looking forward to three months in the washing macine of the southern ocean, but needs must if im to make cape horn and the north atlantic,. please dont post any messages if you think im nuts iv already had a lot of abuse of why i cant do it .even though ive done two atlantic crossings as training runs as well as soutern sailing in the winter to noway and sweden, regards to you all tony,
