Surfer to Sailor

I am a newbie to the sailing community. Used to sail Sunfish & Lasers as a kid in North Carolina. Now I am grown up (kinda) and the kids are out of the house. I want to sail!(still love to surf) Bought a Lido 14 and sail a lot at Mission Bay in San Diego. I rent larger boats often 'cause my wife likes the larger boats(I planned it that way). Anyway , I am intersted in purchasing a Catalina 27/30 sometime in the near future. I am reading everything I have time to read and have taken a couple of sailing courses with ASA.Looking forward to meeting ya'll.
