Hello,
we are new to Sailnet. My wife and I are now somewhat empty nesters. She grew up racing dinghies and lasers and sailing with her family on an Ericsson 32 and Peterson 46. Mostly SoCal coast/Catalina. I started sailing when I met her and loved it. We sailed until we had kids and so after a 20+ year lapse we are 'restarting' by taking the ASA 101-104 classes. We are contemplating buying a boat but will 'rent' for now until we are sure how we will use it.

Welcome to Sailnet!

May I suggest that you stay out of the "Off Topic" threads, unless that's your thing...
