Smile marti62

I was reading a post from a 60+ female who was voicing uncertainty/fear as to whether she should continue her sailing ventures given her age, physical standing, etc. I want to thank her for that post, as I will be turning 63 in December and have made a committment to get back into sailing before my next birthday! I learned some sailing on a 32' Islander Bahama several years ago and used to sail the Delta here in Sacramento area of CA, and around the SF Bay. These were some of the best times of my life! I need to brush up on my sailing skills so will be signing up classes. Would love to do more extensive sailing once I get my sea legs back.

I was reading this post and suddenly I realized "I'm going to 60 next summer!". That better not be too old to sail I've waited 25 years to get another boat.
