Northwest Sailors

We are relatively new sailors in the Puget Sound region. We've been enjoying our 35' O'day for about three years, learning from nearly every sail. We're taking our boat from Seattle to the San Juan Islands this weekend, which is a two day trip. We'll leave her there through mid-September. Then a two-week sail the last week of August through the first week in September. Anyone headed to the San Juans? In September we're planning on sailing to the Canadian Gulf Islands, where we've never been.

Re: Northwest Sailors

Enjoy your time up there. Been up there mostly via ferry system, a couple of times on boats. Pretty!

Also go own to the destination threads, there is a nw section with in, plenty of pics and info on what and where to see, along with a sticky and some of the better books to take with you and get info out of.

Re: Northwest Sailors

That should be a great time to be up here. Where are you leaving the boat? The Gulf Is. are fun, lot's of places to explore. Are you set up with a stern tie line, there are a lot of places where it's almost a necessity (Pirates Cove, Wallace Is, etc). Have fun.
