Cool Hey from Brisbane / Manly

Hi everyone.

I am a young 25yo male who has recently discovered sailing and have just completed my Competent Crew through the RQYS Experience in sailing medium sized jeanneau and Beneteau yachts.

Every day i cycle to work through the botanical gardens and see all the beautiful vessels moored along the banks. It would be a dream come true to help sail one of these so if you need a hand relocating or just want someone to help keep her alive by doing some light sailing on the weekend then by all means let me know

Also, I am always looking for a position on a yacht to sail to New Zealand to reconnect with family members there! I was actually born is South Africa so if anyone needs a crew member for a sail to Cape Town i would be happy to help.

Hope to hear from someone soon and become a part of this amazing sailing community.

Also i look forward to unveiling the myths associated with sailing and nudity . . . just a random side topic for everyone to wonder about.

Cheers,

Chris

Re: Hey from Brisbane / Manly

Welcome to Sailnet, Chris.

RQYS is a great club to belong to and there is always a lot happening. There are always people looking for crew in the WAGS and various weekend race series. Put your name on the noticeboard or simply turn up dockside and I'm sure someone will take you on. They're a friendly bunch!
