Ahoy to all

Although I have been a lurker for quite some time i am finally getting around to signing up for this site as well as getting back on a boat of my own. I was a liveaboard for 3 years and I have been professional boat crew for nearly 13 years doing everything from deck hand to captain. Although I am getting ready to go back to school. I could tell you i am getting back on the water because it is cheaper and a great marina is about .5 of a mile from school but that would be a lie. The reality is that I love living on a boat alot more than living in a house and of course crusing during the summers dosen't sound to bad either. I am really looking foward to working on and sailing my own boat and going when and where I want. Thanks in advance to everyone that gives me advice, I have a fair amount of skills but I am still going to need advice on how to deal with some of the projects.
I wish you all a safe passage and good luck
Jared Britt
