Shout out from NW Oregon

In the Late 80ís I spent quite a lot of time on the Pacific first sport and later commercial fishing from northern CA to Dutch Harbor. As life goes I found myself land locked and a working class middle aged guy with a great wife and kids. Almost out of the blue my wife indicated that she thinks she would enjoy sailing and my mind hasnít yet settled back down yet.
I think we will find a class in the spring and see if she continues to like it we might join a club like Island sailing club in Portland. (My imagination already has us somewhere near the equator)
This seems to be a great site and I just wanted to say hello and will be lurking and occasionally posting.
comments and advice always welcome

Regards,

Rob
