Belgium checking in

Hi everybody,

I'm a total newbie, but got inspired by the stories and travels of a random encounter on the train. I'm not in the possibility to act on this inspiration right now, but am hoping to get some tips and tricks here on this site (which I'll eventually put into practice)!

On the sidelines, I'd also love to get back in touch with this "encounter", learn more about the way of life on a boat and everything that surrounds it (details: Chris, born in Madeira, raised in England, in his twenties, been working on a (small) sailboat for the past 5 years (maintenance+entertaining guests), has been in the pacific, greece,... and is currently in Italy, but not for long anymore.). If this rings a bell, I'd love to hear it!

In either case, I'll be sure to search this site for tips and tricks!
