Kansas Sailor
 

Greetings. Sailed for 33 years. Mostly inland lake. A couple coastal trips. Have a Santana 525 that I've been "tweaking for several years. Not a comfortable boat (so wife is not too crazy about it) but its fast and tender (so the kids think its coooooool). Want to step it up a bit with some rig and ballast mods. Three kids and one on the way take a big bite out of the sailing budget but there's room for some DIY creativity.
