New to the forum from the midwest

Greetings Sailnet gang-

I thought I'd do the requisite introductory post and say hi. I'm based out of a college town in the midwest but love to cruise in the Pacific NW (where it rains all the time, is not beautiful at all, and has dragons). I also cruise the Great Lakes and occasionally NE Maine.

I produce videos, take pictures, teach, write & play music, and paddle things- mainly kayaks. My sweetie and I have been sailing, cruising & chartering for years. We just bought a 2001 Bavaria 37, which is beautiful and in great shape, but in need of some updates. So I'm looking forward to getting and sharing tips/advice/stories with the Sailnet community.

Cheers

- Jim

Thanks for having me! Yes, people have called me a little slow.....

This group's awesomeness rating has jumped quite a bit since my last visit. That's why I'm back (and because I'd rather think about boats than work).
