Hi, I'm New!
Hello! I am taking my first lessons in January 2012. Starting with basic sailing then Keelboat Sailing just after. Hoping to buy my first boat in Spring of 2012.
My goal is to cruise the channel islands. Anacapa/Santa Cruz and do overnight trips. Also bring dive gear along and do a few dives while anchored. I have been told I should get a 25-30' boat for this and will need ALOT of advice along the way. This will be a new adventure to myself and my girl who is very excited to buy a boat with me next year.
This will be my first sailboat. I have been around the ocean my entire life and Divemaster as a hobby on a dive boat that goes to the islands.
Any comments as I am starting out please help, I would really like to meet some people in my area. I am near Ventura and Channel Islands Harbor. Live in Camarillo, CA.
