Greetings From Kemah, TX.

Hello all,
For the past few months, Iíve been heavily fantasizing about buying a sailboat, and have no idea where to start! My budget is not very much, and Iím still very much on the drawing board with regards to what I want. I live in the Kemah/Clear Lake TX area, so thereís quite a few options open. Hope to learn and hear from you all!

-Spec.

Hey spec - you're definitely in the right area. Kemah has a lot to offer.

Welcome to SN dude.

Re: Greetings From Kemah, TX.

Thanks rags. I appreciate the invite. I'll actually be racing out of Galveston on a Pearson 365 for the HMR next week. I do love the off-shore stuff.

Greetings From Kemah, TX.

Does the lake flow into the gulf? There are more than a few boats that I would be interested in.

How long would it take to sail from Kemah to Clearwater Florida?
