new to sailnet and sailing

this is all new to me we sail a Neptune 24 in a lake in wa. state plus Puget Sound race with a club this summer came in 3 over all in 12 boats made us feel good. still learning

unfortunetly we have to take our boat out Labor Day because they lower the water for incoming snow melt in the spring . half the time sailing we have a reefed main and a storm sail on we had to learn fast sometimes the the gusts are strong . we can get 2-4 ft, waves also enough to break over bow.
