Smile Greenhorn

My name is Jenny. I'm originally from Camden/Rockport, Maine. Home of the Windjammers yet somehow I'm a greenhorn to sailing. I moved to Boca Grande, Florida in 1998. In my spare time I would gaze at this sailboat tied up to the mangroves in the bayou while I fished. Ever since then I've wanted a sailboat just like that one. A year ago I set my mind on getting one. I didn't care if I could only afford a piece of it at a time, I would piece it together in my yard. I found one on right away on Craig's List. It was a great deal & everything had already been fixed on it. I kept it docked at the Marina in Boca Grande where I had bought it and as I was cleaning it I met all my sailboat neighbors. One mentioned that it was so great to see it being taken care of now since it had been tied up to the Mangroves in the bayou for years! That's when I discovered it was the same sailboat! (The name was completely worn off so I didn't know.) Now I'm learning as I go. I would love to connect with other sailors.

Re: Greenhorn

Welcome aboard Jenny.
Now the question is - what kind of sailboat is it?
