Smile newb checking in

New forum member checking in.
I relocated last year form Michigan where I owned at Morgan 27 to the Cape Fear region of North Carolina.
I am between boats but am looking seriously at a Offshore 33 with a Cat Ketch rig. This boat is a project boat that needs a lot of love. It has the Sto-boom system and the sails are not in the best of shape.
If am trying to locate resources for replacing the sto-boom with new sails and a wishbone rig. I can't see any good reasons to invest good money trying to fix something that didn't work right to start with, especially if i need to purchase new sails.
Thanks to all in advance

Welcome aboard, Katsailor. If you've been a lurker here, you've no doubt seen the wealth of knowledge and experience of the many SailNetters who contribute to these threads. Good luck on your boat. Sounds like you have some work to do!

Sailing isn't a matter of life and death. It's much more important than that!

Been there and done that, this one is already afloat, next step is to get it out of the slip it is in and bring to Southport.
