Columbia, SC prepping for cruising.
Hello all!
I'm a frequent reader of the forum and hopefully more of a contributor in the future. Last year I sold my weekend lake sailor (helms 24) and upgraded to a Hans Christian 33T. The boat is in great shape but not ready for extended cruising. I plan over the next three years to fit her out for multi-year cruising. I'm sure I'm going to have many more questions as I go along. Next few projects include: + take out kerosene stove/oven, replace with new propane + remove teak decks and resurface + tank level monitors + engine fire suppression system + solar panels and wind generator + upgrade all electronics with modern + water maker Any and all advice is welcome! Thanks! Adam |

Sounds like an ambitious refit! Fire suppresion system? Do you have an A-4? Are you going to need solar and a generator? You can old fit so much in a 33.
