Living the Dream

We're planning on heading out for the Caribbean, August 2014... My wife, my son, two Alaskan Malamutes, and a Hunter 33. Nuts or brave, here is our story:

Welcome any constructive thoughts... We already know its a crazy plan!

Re: Living the Dream

Only thing I see that's "crazy" is taking two large cold-weather dogs to the tropics on a 33' boat.

Free, is the heart, that lives not, in fear.
Full, is the spirit, that thinks not, of falling.
True, is the soul, that hesitates not, to give.
Alive, is the one, that believes, in love.

Re: Living the Dream

Ya thats where we always get the 'crazy' in response to our story. They were both abandoned, and we have a soft spot for Mal's. They are a hard breed to find a home for, and now they're family. So it's a choice by necessity.

Re: Living the Dream

Nuts, yes, nuts would describe it. Our Siberian died a couple of years ago. She was my sweetheart for sure. Now my wife wants to get a pocket dog. You know, they're kind of like dogs only smaller. Aint happ'nin'! I am a dyed in the wool dog lover: prefer dogs over people. But, I like being dogless, but only because of sailing.

Best Weather!
