New to Forum and Just Acquired a Cal 21

Hello all.

Fairly new to sailing. Bought an Albacore last year. Fixed her up and sailed around on Lake Huron last summer. Fun boat!

A couple weeks ago, I snatched up a Cal 21. Decent boat on the outside, but rotted away inside. So I'm now in the process of rebuilding the cabinets bulkheads and bunks. The v-berth is still ok.

It came with a spinnaker setup. Is that common on the Cal 21?

Can't wait to get her out on the water.

Great forum. I'll be here often.

Scott

I just bought a Cal 20 and I am working on it now to get it ready. Keep us posted. With the older cals I have saw some of them set up with different sail set ups. I think it depends on if it was raced.

Cals where sold, less sails when priced in original sales fliers. So whatever the dealer or new owner set up!...Dale
