Time to say hello

I have been lingering around here for many years, and it seems it is time to introduce myself and say hi.

I learned of Sailing when I was in the Marine Corps, and the bug has been with me ever since. I lived on a Cheoy lee offshore for about a year when I got out of the service, but my family convinced me that I should come back home and lead a "normal life".

I have regretted it ever since, and have been plotting and planing how to get back on the water. Well, my farm is now on the market, and when she sells, I will be headed back for a Boat and the clear blue water.

At the moment I am figuring I will be out of here and my shopping will be starting sometime around memorial day. I have lots of questions to ask, so I figured it was time to introduce myself and join the working part of this fine forum.

Re: Time to say hello

hello again Viking, I really enjoyed our conversation earlier is nice to know there's another single dad that has boating interests. Hopefully all will go well on the sale of your farm so you can get busy on hunting a boat. If you ever need anything don't hesitate to contact me CaptG
