Hello from Baton Rouge

New to this forum. Just dropping a note to say hello.
My wife and I are located in Baton Rouge LA. We are still novices to sailing.
We own a '74 Catalina 27 with a 4-stroke Mercury 9.9 kicker. We sail out in the Lake Maurepas/Lake Pontchartrain area.
She's not pristine by any stretch of the imagination, but she is a good training boat, and we love her.

Cool. Lemme know if you'd like to coordinate cruising. Got friends on other forum that sail out of Slidell and NOLA

Hello - just moved to Baton Rouge and our sailboat will be delivered in a week. We got a slip in Slidell and looking forward to being back on the water. Our sailboat is to heavy for racing but we are ready to cruise the lake. . .

Got a friend with a Hunter 31 over at the Oak Harbor Marina in Eden Isle. Is that near where your slip is located?
