New to Missouri

Hi Garrie here. Looking to build a small day sailer for now and the on to a larger 24-28 for a retirement 2nd home and getaway. Looking to move to Florida west coast in the future. Interests include building upgrades and DIY projects for the boat.

Re: New to Missouri

Welcome to SailNet Garrie. 24 feet might be a tad small for a "second home" if there is more than one of you. Good luck either way!

Re: New to Missouri

yes I agree, I am thinking condo and boat, mostly a daysailer that we (wife) and I can do some overnites and an occasional weekender, 28 maybe more my ticket but keeping an open mind as I may want to do a little trailer sailing as well...alot of options right now in my head, pardon the pun. gar.

Re: New to Missouri

Welcome to Missouri. We have quite a few lakes, but not all are sailboat friendly. But I hope you enjoy your move and get to enjoy your dream.
