I am trying to replace the exhaust hoses in my 43'Center Cockpit Irwin MKIII (1987). The hoses run up the chase under the steering pedestal and are not really accessable through the small access door in the wall of the engine compartment located in the passageway between the main salon and the aft master bedroom cabin. Does anyone have experience in how to access these hoses for removal?
Hi, sorry can't answer your question but maybe you can answer mine. I'm very close to buying an Irwin 43 as a liveaboard cruiser and would appreciate your opinion based on your experience. Thx.
Replaced all mine from engine room access in aft cabin!
Depending on how big you are, there is room to crawl-in.

We have lived aboard our Irwin43 for over four years. We have done a lot of thingsto make the boat more comfortable for us but it has been a great liveaboard. We are presently in the Dominican Republic and will head south after the Christmas winds.
