mast on centerline
I have another mast question. My mast is not aligned with the fore and aft centerline of the boat. I have a friend with a I37 and he has the same issue. Any body else?

Is your mast step on the centerline?

I'm afraid I didn't go into enough detail. The mast is on the c'line of the boat but there is a slight turn to port starting at the base.

Bad drawing so bare with me...Are you saying the the "Shoe" or the piece the mast steps in is mounted off center line?

Stillraining, the shoe is off-centerline

mast rake
I have also noticed my mast is noticabely raked aft. Somebody here at the marina suggested that may be the cause of the bow in my mast (the top of the mast is forward of the base). I have tuned and retuned the rig but I can't get the bow out. Any suggestions?

I don't believe mast rake should ever be going forward. I've only seen it raked aft. And your boat may require some prebend in the rig. The shoe being off c/l would bother me quite a bit though.
