Irwin Citation 34 - Radar

Greetings again

We have just purchased an Irwin Citation 34, #266 and the second item we would like to add is Radar.

Same question - if any of you have recently added radar and have advice or pictures, either would be greatly appreciated.

SCoffshore is on a distinguished road
You have roughly three choices, on the mast-which heels and looses sightlines on one side, pivoting mount on the backstay- works, but a little odd on this boat, or on a mast on the transom, either tilting or fixed. probably the best bet is on a mast on the transom, that allows you to move some of your other antennas like GPS and VHF to the same mount. Probably one of the cleanest and simplest mounts.

Thanks

That is my starting plan as that is how I mounted the radar on my 28 foot Tanzer. I was hoping somebody might have done it already and could share their wisdom.
