Singlehanding a Citation 34
 

Hi all,

I'm contemplating a Citation 34 a friend of a friend will be selling (next year). My question is this: is this a boat that can be single-handed?
I presently sail a Pearson 26, daysailing, and most times single-handed. When I move up (I hope!), I'd like a boat I can continue to sail myself. Thanks for input.

No reason you can't singlehand it. It's mostly a matter of having everything laid out to facilitate doing so.

I sure hope you can.

If you can't I'm in trouble too as I expect to be able to sail mine while the commodore does more important things ;)

bigger boats are easier to sail...more forgiving and take higher winds. You'll do OK
