Irwin 32 Citation

Hi, I just bought a 32 Citation. I can find only limited information on this model. My question is; the aluminum bars from the dodger are right in front of the winches, and they prevent you from useing the winch handles.. Is this factory or did some fool who knows nothing about sailing just put them there??

Sorry for not noticing your question earlier, but no that is not factory, that is an after thought of a PO. The only advantage is that you have a dodger (wish I had one) and the winches are two speed Lewmars where you can go back and forth.
