Barnegat Bay IP Owners
We will be holding our first Barnegat Bay MINI MINI Vous get-together
on Saturday July 29 and Sunday July 30th.
This is our first attempt to get fellow ip owners around the barnegat bay and new jersey area together.
Numerous fellow ip owners had expressed an interest.
We plan to gather on Barnegat Bay on Saturday July 29th around midday
near the Water's Edge restaurant(exact lat/lon will be provided) and the restuarant will water taxi us to their patio bar/outside restuarant for an early dinner. This will give us all an opportunity to meet and hope to plan a more formal "vous" for next year. We can then either sail to Tice's Shoal or into the Toms River (several nice coves available) for the evening.
Sunday depending on were we anchored the group could have breakfast
at Pine Beach Yacht Club or Tice's schoal. If we anchored in the Toms river area then a nice sail to Tice's and spend the afternoon at the ocean beach.
Again the itinerary is very preliminary, but the dates are firm.
Please let me know if you intend to join us. After i get the group we could discuss in more detail the day's activities.

I will not be able to make your mini-vous from the Chesapeake but wanted to drop you a line. I also own an IP-35 which I purchased in Florida in 2001. Mine is Hull number 56 and when I bought it, she too was named Evening Star. Her name is now Eau de Vie. Small world...

i just saw your reply(9/23/06) today. it is a small world.
i am not sure were wlalingford, pa is, but i worked in abington ,pa for the last 19 yrs and live near long beach island, nj
i will keep in touch to compare notes on the boat. my wife and i have spent a lot of time cleaning up the boat. it was on the hard for 1 1/2 yrs, but taken relatively good care of by the owner. we are the third owners

Sorry, for the long delay, I don't check this site as often as I should. Just wanted to wish you the Happiest of Holidays and a wonderful 2007 sailing season. Also, check out IPPhotos.com as another good site. Wallingford is near Philly and my boat right now is on the hard in Bear Delaware on the C&D Canal.

i too only check the sailnet website once in a moon. hope you had great holiday season. our ip group is getting together on march 3 for a pot luck dinner at one our group's home. i am on the ip listserve and usually see their messages. we are all planning to go up to Tarrytown NY this june for a mini vous
