Marinas within 25 miles of Wilmington DE for 1-month stay?

Hi Everyone,
I'm going to be in the Wilmington DE area mid-June through mid-July. I'd like to find a marina where I can live aboard for the month. I'd like to be within a 45 minute drive (about a 25 mile radius) from downtown Wilmington.

Do any of you have suggestions for a marina to fit these requirements?

Thanks in advance,

Jeff Small

Try Summit North Marina on the Chesapeake & Delaware Canal. I've never stayed there for any length of time, but that's where we haul out for our winter storage.
Their phone number is 836-1800

Check the water there first. I thought I heard it was shallow. The Sassafras River on the Chesapeake is 45 minutes by car from Wilmington with a number of full service marinas. I'm there now but will be leaving in a couple of weeks. Depending on your draft there is also a couple of marinas up the Cohancet River on Delaware Bay and there may be one at Salem, NJ also. Don't know anything about them though.
