Re: Who is the new IP dealer on the Chesapeake?

Gratitude Yachting Center is indeed shutting down. I spoke with GYC President Ed Kurowski earlier today. It's very sad that a tremendous yacht broker on Chesapeake Bay is shutting down. They simply weren't selling enough boats. Ed and the team are finding homes elsewhere to continue to provide the service they have done for so many years.

Ed and his team have a great relationship with IP. If you are interested in an IP and can't reach Ed contact me and I'll connect you with someone on their team. I don't get anything from this -- just learned to love these folks in the last eight years.

Oh, that stinks! I actually looked at a few of the used boats they had for sale. The folks there were VERY helpful and nice. The boat I'm looking at buying was actually originally purchased from them, and I had considered trying to overnight near them so they could see her.

GYC closing does not add up. There must be more to the story. I hope the owners are going on to greener pastures.

Ed and many of his team are going to be working with SJ Yachts.
