Islander 30 for sale, LaBelle, Florida

I have my old Islander 30 for sale, I found I needed a larger boat, planning a circumnavigation, so I bought a Hughes 38, the old boat needs to go. It's in good shape, I notice there are a few for sale on the net from $9K to over $25K, I'll be happy to get something in the lower portion of this range. I've just varnished all the wood and these boats have a lot of it, very beautiful interior, hauled and bottom paint was new a little over a year ago. It's almost always been in fresh water, I brought it from Lorain, Ohio, through the great lakes, Illinois, Miss, Ohio, Tenn-Tom, across the gulf, and now back in fresh water in south central Florida. It's got the Palmer engine, more details later, or ask questions. I could deliver and it could be fully outfitted or rather bare. jheld@ksu.edu

Feb 2007 - I've now got a web site, www.jheld.mysite.com I have lots of pictures of the Islander on there. I've got the Islander priced at $8000.

Also the 38 Hughes needs to go now, probably around $15K, brand new Volvo diesel in it, good blue water boat. I got a great deal on a 45 steel ketch. I'll have pictures of the Hughes up soon. Also I've got lots of pics of the ketch on my site.

Have a great day

Do you think the Islander can circumnavigate with diesel repower?
