The site is back: lender-reviews dot com slash islander

Can you figure that out?

As most of you know, Jim & Barb Gravelyn didn't or couldn't handle the site anymore (can't remember which) so I took it over. I actually rescued it and pieced it back together with the help of our community.

A couple of years later, I too ran into the same problem... the demands of the 'real' world pulling all my time from my pleasures. I gave up the workload of the site (and it was), and saw the pieces being chopped up, and recreated a few times.

I did not know the site was totally gone! I did a 'goog' on my name, and came across this thread - The old site was gone! I had no idea... so I dug through my old hard drives (pretty anal huh? I save all the old drives out of my computers before i toss 'em in case something is ever needed!) and found the old site.

So it's fixed now - up and running. And I'll try to manage it as long as I can, until the next person assumes the role. In the meantime, let's update the owners, and let's get more links on there to other sites about this wonderful little boat. And let's get some event stuff going!

My email address is all over the site, so don't hesitate to shout out. I'll also update it with all the little social gimmicks in play now. I also operate forum software, but this is already a real community, so I'll link directly to this site.

BTW - The host is Lender-Reviews.com... if you need a mortgage in California, get in touch with me.

And the last time I built this site, there was no way to even have it pay the web hosting fees! Now there is. Don't hesitate to make use of the Google Ad links... and those Google ads are going to foot the bill on supporting this site.

Thanks gang, and look forward to hearing from you. Now go visit the 'new' old Islander site. Tell me what I need to fix.

Randall,
WOW, thanks for coming to the rescue!!!! I would be glad to help with the site, but have no experience. Maybe collaborating with Bob Everson at the Canadian web site would be a good idea!
