Hi All,

Last fall we purchased an 1964 Islander 32 we keep in Olympia, WA. Reading this it sounds like there is still an active Islander Rendezvous in the area? How can I get more info? We may be interested in coming up next year.

Thanks!
Bryan

Bryan,

Contact Eileen whom posted earlier, or her worst half, Doug at
IYCNW Home
This is the local website, complete with a burgee for local islanders too! There is also a group that meets in the BC area. Look in 48north for these two groups roundezvous's. Next yrs at ludlow is already set with reservations too!

If you have problems getting ahold of them, email me at my forum handle name at hotmail dot com. I have both of there ph#'s on speed dial!

Thanks so much, blt2ski. I've been lurking over my husband's shoulder (IslanderGuy) and we appreciate this info. I found all the details we need on the website. We'll keep our eyes out for the BC date too as we may be heading up that direction next summer.

The old Islander website referred to by the OP has been down for about 9 months. Ironically i still get email post with (site unknown). Would like to see it come back.

islanderguy/gals,

The BC roundezvous IIRC is in July, where as the ludlow on is typically the 3rd weekend in June. Not sure if Eileen or Doug know when that group meets or not, or whom to contact. Now that I am typing, there was a notice for one a few yrs back on this site, probably back a whopping 2-3 pages or so. not too many posts in these "brand" specific forums, so it should not be too hard to flip back thru the pages.

Hi All!!
I was looking for the Islander site too. Too bad it's down. It was the only site I could find anything about my Islander 27 Does anyone know any other sites that have info on Islanders? I was on sailnet looking for a quote for a new mainsail and they need the model.... I can't remember ever knowing the model. I though it was just a Islander 27 I got hold of the IYCNW and hope to go to the rendezvous next year.

Captron,

If you go directly to the FX sail site, they only show info for ONE I27
I 31.2
J 10.3
P 26.1
E 11.3

Personally, if you are not sure what the measurements really are, measure yourself, or get one of the locals, ie North, Ullman, UK, Neil Pryde reps to come and measure, and get you sails.
