The Old Islander Web Site is Back!

(drum roll please)

It's BACK!!!

Click here for the NEW Old site. The site is also hooked up to this forum. I look forward to updating owners information, posting new links and articles (if you find any), and posting upcoming events.

This site used to be home to over 280 Island Owners... hopefully they'll all find their way back here.

If you find interesting sites or news you would like posted, send me an email... my address is all over the site.

If you find broken links, or can suggest new suppliers, let me know.

Is there any interest in a "BOAT FOR SALE" section? BTW - I don't mean parts and stuff... there are plenty of great places for that. I mean whole boats.

Great to have dedicated sites. But even greater to have a sub-forum in which previous Islander owners contribute!

Re: The Old Islander Web Site is Back!

The dot com and dot ca seem to both be gone again, and people parked on other tld suffixes. I started a new Islander Sailboat dot Info site to try and serve as a hub to all these forums and post my own blog posts and research.

Re: The Old Islander Web Site is Back!

FWIW-
The are "site snatchers" that will dl a complete copy of a site for you, to make sure it is preserved. Also, The Wayback Machine (aka the internet archive.org) takes full backups of almost all web sites from time to time.
So if it is important, and running on a shoestring from a private party...take a snapshot!
