Re: Bahama 30 exhaust

I'm glad to hear your installation is working out. It would be interesting to compare set-ups and performance with these combinations. It's too bad you can't get up here in July but I can understand the distance/time. We're also going on our summer sailing vacation in August this year, up to the Sunshine Coast and Princess Louisa Inlet in the first three weeks. Perhaps our paths will cross.....

Re: Bahama 30 exhaust

our original plans were for 3 weeks in August up to Desolation Sound, but we have an aging dog and will not be able to leave him that long, so will probably just take a week. He is a 13 year old lab great dane mix that has been my buddy for a long time. We lost our 17 year old Shepard Rottweiler mix last year in August, causing us to miss cruising all together.

I would love to see picks of your install, and have to get pics of mine posted!

Kent

I would be interested in knowing what the price is on a half model. Having spent as much money on the engine etc I suspect that any more "extra" spending on the boat may not be considered good for my sailing career, if you know what I mean! I have kept a log of all my efforts in the installation and will be sending it to Rick VanMell of the Islander 36 Association. He is interested in posting it on their website as an educational/informational document. I will let you know when it's posted.

It is going to end up about $450. I have already had the lines done from pictures and the brochure. I will post a few pics. Mine is ready to be mounted and looks great.
