Is it an Islander 32 mkII?
3 Attachment(s)
The registration says 1977 Islander mkII, but it doesn't look look like any others of that era. I found a picture of one other exactly the same and they called it an Islander Wayfarer? The HIN starts with CFZ and that makes it a homebuilt, but I doubt that due to the quality of construction. can anyone please tell me what I bought?

A bit of history here:

Sailboats built by Islander / Tradewind Yachts by year on

.. the I32 from the 60s shown here doesn't look like your pics exactly, but the hull form is similar. Somehow I doubt any production boat would have a "homebuilt" HIN prefix - unless it was completed as a hull/deck kit perhaps. This is not the Gurney designed 32MKII.

Anyhow in the link there's an extensive list of Islanders that you can check out, but none I looked at are an exact match.. Happy Hunting!

Learned something today though, I had no idea that Bob Perry's Nordic 34 was 'born' as an Islander 34!
