I28 - Great Lakes PHRF Rating

I am looking for a current PHRF rating for the I28 on the Great Lakes. Internet research seems to be showing a 201 rating and would be interested if that rating is what should be used for a standard equipped (no spinniker) with 150% furling jib.

And yes it is sad to put "Second Wind" away for the winter so am thinking of some light racing in the spring to brighten my winter blues.

Thanks,
Drew Martin

Re: I28 - Great Lakes PHRF Rating

The URL:
http://offshore.ussailing.org/Assets...er+19+2011.pdf

will reveal an extensive list which is assembled by compiling fleet data.

The Islander 28 I race on has 192 as its base handicap.

We race in MAST Racing - Welcome

BTW in Milwaukee there are two yacht clubs and MAST. If every boat registered in MAST came out, we could have fifty boats on the course, a good model for a sail racing club...
