2014 Jeanneau 409

We are chartering a new 409 out of Nassau in April. What is the brand of the current electronics/nav instruments Jeanneau is using of late? Simrad/B&G or Raymarine?

Seems to depend upon the dealer some too. Local dealer uses Raymarine. But I am recalling looking at recent boat show that B&G is a factory option.

Probably best to ask the charter folks. Altho with 16 of these boats sold here in Puget sound, one would think it would not be hard to find one in the area to ask someone.

Re: 2014 Jeanneau 409

I swear I've never seen two bareboats alike. Not even the same make/model. Nav electronics seem to most often be a commissioning add, rather than factory install, so owner preference and local dealer influence that decision.

Over the past several years, I've noticed charter companies loading operator manuals online for all their boats. At the least, they all list onboard equipment and you could go to the OEM website for the manual. Did you ask them?

In the harsh marine environment, something is always in need of repair. Margaritas fix everything.
