2002 Jeanneau 43DS - buying tips?

I'm getting an ex-charter 43DS surveyed the week after next and I've also taken quite a few pictures of all the nooks and crannies I could find. Does anyone here have some particular points that should be looked at during a survey of this particular model? Just about the only think I noticed was that the metal stanchions used to hold your weight to the left and right of companionway are loose, this looks like a typical type of problem. Any other typical weak or trouble spots that I should look out for?

Chuck - thank, I did check out the site, but it seems quite a bit less trafficked than her so I ended up posting the query here.

You have this boat for sale already, I noticed.
Was there something you did not like with it?

blt2ski will become famous soon enough
In a nutshell, he wants a bigger one. You see, he has these two crew members that go with him..................

blt2ski - lol, you have that spot on.
Overstag - No, I am very happy with the boat and already have seller's remorse even though I haven't sold the boat yet! If I were to be unemotional about the sailboat ownership thing, then at present I would state that the 43DS is just right for me - easily handled by one person in all but the nastiest of weather - including docking, anchoring and mooring; big enough for several guests with easily convertible 2, 3 or 4 cabins. Genset, A/C and lots of storage space.

The other boats that I've been looking at have one or two attributes that are better (the Grand Soleils are sexy, the 50+ footers are HUGE, etc.) but none have the same balance of attributes.
