Thanks, everyone, for your advice. I am quite spoiled where I am now. My apartment is in the marina I keep my boat at and I only motor 5-10 minutes to be out in the Chesapeake Bay. Sometimes I don't even have to start my motor.
I agree about driving rather than motoring. This means I have to get all of my big boat projects done before I move (if that even works out).
