Who's In First?

So, who has the earliest Splash and Sail date on Lake Huron / Georgian Bay / Lake Michigan / Lake Superior?
Not me.
We launch May two four weekend along with everyone else when the crane show up in Lion's Head.

We could be in now, but we've given up the slip (and fees!) this year to go cruising all summer instead. So, we need more spring prep time and probably won't launch until the week after Memorial Day.

Was up on Easter weekend to pull the tarps, polish and wax the topsides. Beautiful weekend.

Probably go in a week or two. That's the nice thing with a travellift in the marina.
Have too much to finish up at home and the ice just melted in the Bay a couple weeks ago. As long as we're ready May 1st.

Monday definitely takes it, I go in on our first launch day which is May 1st. We used to go about this weekend but that has slipped to weekend closet to the first of May.
Where are you going in Canuckster? Bayfield?

Hi Gary, I sail out of Port Stanley at the Kanagio Yacht Club, 20 minutes south of London. How long have you been in Bayfield ? Where do you stay ?

I was going to ask if you were in Port Stanley but it was a Lake Huron thread, Guess I must have my lakes mixed up.
I generally get down your way at least once each summer so will look for your boat.

Gary
