killarney_sailor is on a distinguished road
First thread !!

Did not even have to bribe tdw to get a Lake Ontario forum started - although did have to all the way to Oz to make a personal appeal. He even fed and watered us and took us for a sail, so if you need something in Sailnet just hop on a plane to Sydney and Bob's your uncle (or something like that).

Hope people use the forum now that it is here. We will not be sailing on Lake Ontario for at least a couple of years, but looking forward to it at some point.

Big change in our status. we have decided that we cannot safely (in my mind) leave South Africa this season allowing for the time needed for my hand to recover from its injury. All typing is right-handed at this point. We will leave Ainia in SA and head north and west in the early southern summer ~Oct/Nov?

You can check OnAinia.blogspot.com for updates on our travels whenever I get around to it.

Oi ... what do mean 'you didn't have to bribe me' ?
