Smile Saw Bob Bitchin at Catalina
I saw Bob Bitchin and Jody at the Catalina Yachts Rendezvous in last weekend in the Isthmus at Catalina. He is a good speaker and a good guy. His stories about Lost Soul were facinating.

Was any one else there?

It was a kick. Frank Butler and Gerry douglas were there. If you own a Catalina, it was the place to be.

We were in the fenced off area to the right of the general store. He gave his talk on friday night. The general theme was "the difference between an adventure and an ordeal is your attitude". Very true. What mooring were you in? We were at K13.

We missed it. We didn't get there until midday Saturday. We dropped anchor in the free area so that the grand kids could skiff up to the beach and kayak around a bit, then we ended up in N16 for the night.

The 1st mate and I meet him at the Miami boat show. Hes the one that took the picture of us that was in May's L&A. Hope to run in to him and his 1st mate again, he said she liked Endeavours.

The "Lost Soul" is in King Harbor B dock Potofino rotting away. Didn't Bob get injured on that vessel?
