Genoa and its port

Hello to all friends of the forum, I would like to show you some photos of the port of Genoa and the marina where I keep my small boat moored.
Let's start with a couple of views from the top where you can see some degi marinas where pleasure boats are moored.

in the photo above you can also see the control tower of the port, which handles commercial traffic and the bustle of the ferries

In this picture the other hand, the background you can see the Old Port area, which was restored in 1992 by architect Renzo Piano, on the occasion of the celebrations for the 500 anniversary of the birth of Christopher Columbus

below a couple of photos of the Cotton Warehouses where goods were stacked, with the old cranes preserved; the "Lanterna" the lighthouse in the background, the lighthouse symbol of the city

continue with some views of the piers to which boats are moored, and finally the space reserved for sailing school

these are some photographs that illustrate the marina where I keep my boat

How much large, commercial traffic do you have to watch for when sailing?

in fact the owners who have the mooring in the commercial port have their work cut out every time you go out to sea, to control the maritime traffic.
Fortunately, my boat is a marina located at the mouth of the western breakwater.
The dam is about 5 km long and protects all the port from the frequent winter storms.
I hope soon to take even more photos of the port area and then I show them to you
